Rebecca Paegel

PT, MScPT, BScKin

Rebecca graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2017. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with distinction. Rebecca has completed further training in manual therapy, functional dry needling, as well as various treatment techniques.

She is passionate about being a physical therapist and helping people achieve their goals while recovering from an injury, overcoming chronic pain, or maintaining an active lifestyle. Her treatment approach centers around education, progressive exercises, and manual therapy. With collaborative goal setting, Rebecca works with her patients to create realistic and achievable treatment plans that suit her clients.

While studying at the University of Alberta she competed on the Pandas Varsity Soccer team. Rebecca continues to play soccer, run, and strength train. She loves to spend time outdoors with her young family.

Dr. Daniel Pincus

MD, PhD, FRCSC

Dr. Daniel Pincus is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, including complex primary procedures and revision joint reconstruction.

He is known for particular expertise in minimally-invasive hip and knee replacement techniques, including hip resurfacing, DAA hip arthroplasty, and partial and total knee replacement, and has performed more than 3,000 of these procedures. Dr. Pincus serves as Fellowship Director for the Sunnybrook Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship Program, where he is actively involved in surgical training and education.

During his training and early career, he received several prestigious honours, including the Lawson Family Most Outstanding Graduate Award from the University of Toronto Orthopaedic Surgery Program and the Bernie Langer Award from the University of Toronto Department of Surgery, recognizing the most promising early-career surgeon.

Dr. Pincus is committed to personalized evidence-based care and integrating the most advanced surgical techniques to help patients safely return to mobility, function, and quality of life.
