Dr. Eric Bohm has more than 20 years of experience in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He is committed to helping patients make informed treatment decisions and takes pride in delivering personalized, evidence-based care. In the operating room, he has extensive experience with a wide range of surgical approaches, techniques, and implant technologies.
Dr. Bohm is an internationally recognized leader in joint replacement research and quality improvement. He regularly speaks at international meetings and has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. His engineering background sparked a longstanding interest in healthcare quality and outcomes research, leading to numerous leadership roles, including Medical Director of the Manitoba Joint Replacement Registry, Chair of the Manitoba Provincial Orthopedic Standards Committee, Chair of the Canadian Joint Replacement Registry Advisory Committee, President of the Canadian Arthroplasty Society, and President of the International Society of Arthroplasty Registries.
Outside of Canada, Dr. Bohm has participated in surgical missions abroad, sharing his expertise to help improve access to orthopaedic care in underserved communities.
