
Dr. Jeremy Kubik is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hip (anterior approach) and knee arthroplasty. He serves as the Chief of the Hip & Knee Arthroplasty Section at the University of Calgary and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery. He works as an attending Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary, AB. Dr. Kubik also leads the Competency-By-Design curriculum for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency, helping train the next generation of orthopaedic specialists.
A Calgary native, Dr. Kubik completed his medical degree at the University of Alberta (MD, 2014) and went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Calgary (2019). He gained additional subspecialty expertise through an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York (2020), followed by a Hip & Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship at the University of Toronto (2021). He recently completed a traveling fellowship with the Anterior Hip Foundation (AHF) to further refine his expertise in anterior hip replacement techniques.
Dr. Kubik is passionate about delivering efficient, evidence-based surgical care and helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. He is known among patients and colleagues for his clear communication, thoughtful surgical planning, and collaborative approach to care, supporting patients through every step of their treatment journey.
